My Classes Need Computer Mice

Help me give my students a mouse for use with their Chromebooks. Cutting and pasting lesson made me realize that many students were only using the built-in track pad on their school issued Chromebook.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Avondale neighborhood school in Chicago with a broad spectrum of children including english language learners. A great school with dedicated teachers and administration, and parents who care and engage.

Remote learning has been challenging for everyone involved, and revealed that access to technology is highly variable in the community.

My students make me laugh and amaze me constantly with how they are dealing with the current situation.

My Project

Simple computer functions can be challenging to grasp. Using a trackpad on a laptop makes that even more challenging.

Having basic supplies are important to foster a good learning environment.

In these times many families are struggling to afford the necessities.

A computer mouse will make tasks much easier for the children. Please help us raise the funds to get this needed resource. Learning from home is already a challenge, and I am amazed with the progress that has already been made this year. As technology evolves, it is important that everyone has access.
