Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will learn to respect their environment and tend to a garden, a naturally rewarding activity which is healthy, social, and beautifies their surroundings.

They'll learn social skills, learn to be kind, and be respectful, nurturing, caring for their environment.

At the same time they will be making their school premises aesthetically appealing and creating a welcoming place for all students to walk into.

The gardening kit and tools will provide students a space to engage with one another and practice mindfulness by increasing their awareness with the sensory gardening items like the herbs, plants, soil, planting, pruning, maintaining and watering.
