Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I love my students because not only are they intelligent and amazing, they are all diverse. They come from different backgrounds, different family sizes and have been through different things in their life.

They love to show each other love, empathy and respect, and that alone makes me love them even more.

When I was going through my radiation/chemo for my cancer, my students were understanding(some more than others), kind and generous and that helped me fight this awful disease(one of the many things).

My Project

These materials will help my scholars from losing what they have been taught. Rather it be sight words, number problems or just reading one of their favorite books. By using the tablets, they can have personalized learning that will help build learning strategies. Building these strategies will help with confidence, skill and get my scholars on the right track to college. Having extra technology in the classroom will help with small groups, student to student partnering as well as extra practice, if needed. I know that my scholars will grow and exceed the goals with the extra help.
