Student diversity at this school creates a strong community that recognizes and celebrates cultural differences. The school is near a university, and the population of students range from parents who are students, professors, and come from a variety of economical backgrounds. Their diversity is not only in their cultures but also in their academics.
These students are eager to learn, create, and be involved with "doing" that stretches their imaginations and thinking.
Educators at this school are dedicated, supportive, and always looking for innovative ways to provide a learning environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking. Collaboration and team efforts from both staff and students make this school a great place to learn.
The "Mustang Maker Space" is not just getting started, but growing. Last year, we were able to borrow some items to give students experiences in "Making". One of student's favorites was the 3D Doodlers, so we would like to add these to our own library "Mustang Maker Space" and expand the experience to more students. Why Bloxels? Students have been creating games with Scratch & we know building video games with Bloxels to create apps for the ipads, will expand student's creativity.
"The "Mustang Maker Space" and "Making" is the best", when is it my turn?
That's the excitement and buzz as the "Mustang Maker Space" expands the opportunities available for students.
