This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students love coming to music because it is a chance for them to be creative, move their bodies, and sing their hearts out. In music class, we learn music theory, we sing and dance, and we prepare for yearly concerts.

Music education begins the minute the students enter the classroom.

Having a classroom with print-rich posters, musical picture books, and the supplies they need to start their musical education helps to make our music classroom inviting and fun for our students. The posters will display music vocabulary, music genres and visuals. The picture books tell stories of musicians who students can look up to. We will have colorful spots for our students to sit on and the equipment to keep our recorders clean. With your help, we can make our music classroom an exciting place for our students to visit and make beautiful music.
