Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from District 1 in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York City. Most of my students come from low-income families and my school is a Title I school. Many of them receive free lunches based on their socioeconomic status.

I am looking for outlets to help them open their own creativity and self-expression.

From the music classroom to performances, to trips, I want to help them find their own voices and help them create a better future!

My Project

As the world becomes more digital, my students need to enhance their music learning through the use of technology. While they love the touch and feel of real instruments, and they get plenty of that, it's also important for them to have access to the tools that will allow them to grow in their musicianship in the real world. And that means with technology.

They will be able to play virtual instruments, create their own songs, and explore music in new and exciting ways.

With these iPads, my students will be able to use the most recent technology for learning music.Thank you for helping me bring real music technology to my students.
