Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I work at a Title One school. I am the music teacher at my school. I see over 700 students every week. My student's age range from 3 years old to 6 years old. My students are so excited to learn music. They are very interested in music because they hear it all the time.
Giving them a musical experience is very important.
I believe my students love the music because they are exposed the it all the time. I believe they need to be exposed to different types of music to grow as an individual.
My Project
My students love music. Most of them have a limited source of he music they hear. I believe students should be exposed to all genres or music. Having the Apple iPad Pro and key pad will allow me to expose my students to different types of music. We can learn to play the piano and drums. We are limited to the amount and types of equipment we have but this should not limit my student's learning. Musical experiences can allow my students to find their musical talents.
We can use different programs to learn to play different instruments and develop music for our class.
My students can learn musical components at an early age. We can use the writing magic and write boards to draw our musical notes and songs in a fun interactive way since equipment is limited with large class sizes. Using theses items my students can help me create music .
