Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Many of them have taken on their character roles and have grown more confident in their abilities to speak, act, and dance. Getting stage props and costumes will help not only our current play but also help with future plays as well. Our theater program is starting from scratch and we don't have any extra funding from the school budget. We need as many costumes as possible. Costumes will bring our characters to life and add visual effects to the play. We hope to get good costumes that will last. My students will learn the importance of taking care of their costumes and how to treat them while performing.
