This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am just one teacher who is part of a hardworking school community in New York.
Our school serves 430 students, about half of whom are multi-language learners and/or special needs students.
My students at this project-based school are from all over the globe: Bangladesh, Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, Mali, and beyond! We work hard every day not only to master algebra and geometry, but also to become masters of the English language.
My Project
While many students have wireless headphones to use on their personal devices, many of the computers in our school community to which students have access do not have this bluetooth connection capability.
When we have flipped classroom sessions or students need to listen to Zoom calls, it is about 7 times out of 10 the case that a student cannot properly connect headphones to make listening to the video or other person speaking easily as the bluetooth capabilities of our school's devices does not match that of their personal wireless headphones.
Help me give my students the ability to connect to their school computer with these headphones.
