Our rural school is a K-12 school located in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley. Our elementary school is K-3, serving about 300 students. My class has diverse learners including students who have IEPs, 504s, special needs, gifted students, and everywhere in between. I want to provide every one of my third grade students with a learning environment that meets their educational needs and emotional, social, and physical needs. My students work hard and are excited and eager to learn.

My students are eager for new experiences and chances to explore the world around them. Whether it be through using tablets, performing science experiments, reading about faraway places, or using special seating to make learning more comfortable, I want to provide them with these opportunities in any way I can. My DonorsChoose projects will help make this year and future years as successful as they can be.
My Project
I would like to purchase pool noodles to cut into parts to use for drumming activities in our classroom! This will get us up and out of our seats, actively participating in a brain break so we can do our best learning. I would also like to purchase beach balls. We use balls in our classroom for various games and to pass the ball to the person who's turn it is to speak. We need a new end table for our reading corner. The students use this area and our current end table is broken beyond repair.
These items will help my students remain focused and also give them an area where they can do their best learning.
