My Project
Musicplay online is a comprehensive elementary music curriculum with teacher lessons, demos, books, instrument activities, world music, games, and more! This summer they are presenting a workshop, but it is too far away from me to travel.
There is a virtual option to stream workshops, and I would like to attend it to get ideas for next and future teaching!
Top presenters and composers from the world of education will be presenting seminars on a variety of topics, as well as new music and material reading sessions. I will be able to get at least 12 hours of CPE credit.
My students will benefit from my attending this workshop in many ways. First, Musicplay is now our district curriculum, and I will be better versed in all the site sections have to offer. Second, my students will learn through me all of the interactive tools like melody writing and vocab review games that it apparently offers. I will be able to fine tune my teaching approach and offer many more student-based learning.
