This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am a new teacher at our Academy coming in mid year and would love to provide my students with instruments and music equipment to keep getting more musical experience and make class feel like a professional and fun environment. My goals are for students to be able to make music their own and create a love and passion for music that goes beyond the classroom.

Our Academy is on the south side of Chicago.

In this area music is not required in schools and students often don't get the opportunity to share their passions in the musical realms. Be a donor and help students find a love and joy for music that they can bring with them for the rest of their lives.
