My students need 11 sturdy music stands so that their books stay open as they play.
The students love to play music but they get frustrated when their books close or fall off of the cheap wire stands we now have. Where I have used these type of metal stands there are many less distractions.
Students in this school are from poorer families and most of them are in the free lunch program.
The school is in a low income; urban neighborhood of a large city. The students are really excited about music and love to play their musical instruments. They are wonderful, bright, and enthusiastic students and love to learn.
The music stands I would like the students to use are very nice looking and sturdy metal stands. They do not break or fall over very easily. When I have been able to use this type of stand, I have been able to devote more time in the lesson to instruction and less time to picking up books or fallen music stands.
There is a great benefit for the amount of money these music stands cost.
Since I teach quite a few students, each class would be able to use the stands, thus multiplying the good learning outcomes.
