My Students
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
This is the first year the students at our school will have music class, so I am going to try my best to make it a great experience for them.
I want music class to be the best part of my student's day!
My Project
I need various supplies for my music classroom at our Elementary School in Philadelphia, PA. First, we need foam tile mats for the little guys to sit on. I have tile flooring in my room so I need somewhere comfortable for my students to sit during games and activities. We also need bean bags and various rhythmic instruments. These will help my students learn about rhythm and make learning fun!
My students deserve the absolute best!
I am walking into an empty classroom. Our school has not had a music class in over 10 years so I need to bring music education into my student's lives! They have so much to learn but I need resources to be able to teach them effectively. Your donation will undoubtedly make a difference in each of my student's lives. Thank you!
