Help me give my students materials for their Music Theory classes.

My Project

The musical materials requested will be used for applying the study of music theory to understanding written music, the practicum of how to play percussion, strings, piano and other instruments learners bring, as well as maintaining certain instruments. We also will compose, using the theory as they begin to understand how theory is represented in a composition.

We have three guitars that will need extra strings, and the supplies and other percussion will support the application of theory for notes, beats, and tones.

We will be using the different genres in our study of historical periods to apply in practicum, and in composition...As an example, the singing bowls replicate much of the tone poem styles of the ancient music (fragments) of Egypt and Greece. These instruments also can have pieces composed for them in class in the two online composition websites we will use and in final copies on hand-written composition paper.
