This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will really give our students the exciting edge to complete their field show performance needs and beyond. The drum hardware and colorguard costumes will get much use this fall and in some additional shows moving forward. The laser printer would be such a blessing to our program for continued use for concerts, festivals, banquets, and recruitment efforts!
We are excited that our percussion and colorguard sections have really grown this year and we need additional equipment necessary for all students to use and to maintain the instruments and costumes we already employ.
After our printer died last year, it was hard to fulfill the normal printing needs for our banquet, festivals, and concerts we put on during the year. The ability to have access to our own printer that is off the school network would be tremendous. Our only way of printing is via the two large copy machines on campus that frequently break on an almost weekly basis. The copies from that machine are of lesser quality to save ink and to accommodate thousands of copies each day. Our own printer would save us a lot of headaches and constant navigating around these issues.
