Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In our classroom, we are excited about learning new things! The students are very imaginative and love collaborating with their classmates! They come to school each day ready to learn as much as possible! The kindergarten year is an exciting time for exploration, development, and building a foundation for future learning.
We love to learn new things from exploration, one other, and from music!
Our school serves over 600 children in grades PK-3. I currently have a class of 22 diverse learners who are excited to be in kindergarten. They are highly motivated by activities that include music and movement! `
My Project
The exciting materials included in this project will positively impact our classroom learning environment in many ways. Music is one of the best ways to engage young learners. The resources for this project include an everyday songs and activity box, educational CDs (Sing, Learn, and Play CD collection), circle time songs CD, and even more musical fun (Exersongs: Music That Makes Fitness Fun! CD). We will be able to use these resources during morning meeting, transition times, and at the end of our school day. Music with motion help students to be even more motivated to learn and help them with memory! We will be able to move and groove to learn our alphabet, counting, calendar routines, and much more!
