This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a class of energetic and creative students who thrive when they are engaged and encouraged. To continue supporting their growth and promoting positive behavior, I’m seeking your generous support to provide essential resources that will benefit our classroom environment. Specifically, I would love to add sensory toys like play-doh, fidget spinners, Legos, and mini magnetic boards to our "Treasure Box," which will help students manage their emotions and reward positive behavior. These tools can help calm anxious moments, reduce sensory overload, and allow students to focus better during lessons.
Additionally,
To help me communicate more effectively with all of my students, I am requesting a wireless speaker and microphone. This will allow me to project my voice clearly across the classroom, without having to strain my voice. It's especially helpful for students who may struggle with hearing or focus and will enable me to create a more inclusive learning experience for everyone.
Finally,
I would like to ask for a set of new boom whackers to promote a more interactive and fun music class. Boom whackers are an amazing instrument that allows students to learn about rhythm, pitch, and sound in an engaging way. They will give my students hands-on experience that reinforces their musical education while keeping them excited to learn.
These items will not only help improve student behavior and communication, but they will also enhance the overall learning experience in our classroom. Your support will make a huge difference in the lives of my students. Thank you so much for considering my project!
