This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Seniors enjoy the benefits that music has to offer. During independent time they enjoy hearing the Zen relaxing beats mixed with the smell of essential oils. They say it really helps them to relax and focus on the work that needs to be done. Having a dedicated speaker will help the classroom avoid the annoying skipping and in and out that is a new constant with playing music on the computer. Students are left disappointed and annoyed when the music constantly stops playing and leaves the awkward silence.

Music can make all the difference in a persons state of mind and a music speaker will allow me to set the mood and environment in my classroom.

When I feel students need a pick me up I can play some uplifting groovy beats. If it is testing or study time I can calm the environment with some study Lofi mixes. What ever the day brings this speaker will change a moment in time for many students. Bringing a sense of calm, joy, and even smiles.
