it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 1st and 2nd graders love music! They always ask if we can sing a song or do a dance. As educators, we know the importance of music and art in the classroom. It is my goal to establish a music time block in my classroom to teach students notes, rhythm, and other basic musical elements.
I am so excited to get musical instruments into the hands of my 1st and 2nd graders!
Boom whackers, hand bells, and rhythm sticks are perfect instruments for this age group to use as they are introduced to basic music theory. This project will provide enough instruments for every student in my class.
