These books will delight our young students when they come to music class.
With this project, I am requesting books which will help provide new music activities for students of all ages.
'First, We Sing!' is a wonderful book series chock full of great songs to learn in music class. This book series will help strengthen our students' connection between literacy and the arts. 'Step it Down' will teach us traditional African American folk songs, games and dances that come from the Gullah region of South Carolina.
These books, and the learning activities they will inspire, will be enjoyed by our students. Thanks for helping us build a classroom library in the music room!
