Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We have had the opportunity to grow our band both in school and after school. Our scholars have developed an inclination to create musically. Performing is an essential part of the development of the student's musicianship. Reeds, a bass guitar, and valve oil will allow our scholars the resources to continue developing and sculpting their skills in both instrumental playing and theoretical knowledge. The critical thinking skills in music help my students promote individual ideals through studying and applying all academic and psychomotor curricula. We have a responsibility to develop art for the community.
