My Project

Music therapy stands as a potent ally in communication development for little ones, leveraging the intrinsic connections between music, cognition, and language! By harnessing the rhythmic and melodic elements of music, speech and language therapists like myself create a rich environment conducive to fostering communication skills. Through singing, chanting, and/or playing instruments, like shakers, bells and maracas, I encourage my students to engage in vocalization and expression, gradually building confidence and proficiency in articulation.

Moreover, music therapy transcends linguistic barriers, providing a universal medium through which individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities can connect and communicate.

Music in therapy cultivates interpersonal skills, turn-taking, and social reciprocity, laying a solid foundation for effective communication.
