This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students love music and movement time. They delight in expressing their excitement and feelings through music. They enjoy the curriculum about music. They explore and discover new sound, rhythms, and music genres. They enjoy creating music and dancing. However, we don’t have enough books and instruments that share how music is a universal language. Music is essential for many cultures.
My preschoolers will love to be inspired by how other cultures celebrate and cherish music.
Music promotes creativity and imagination. This book and instruments will help my students to learn and discover how music unites us.
