My Students

I teach music to pre-kindergarten students all the way to eighth grade students. Most of my students are on free and reduced lunch which makes it a Title 1 school. All of my students are eager to come to music and to learn about things they have never heard about.

My Project

Most of my students haven't had the chance to play musical instruments in their music classroom. I have some materials to get them started but these materials would help my students soar in the classroom. Having stands will allow my students to read their music in front of them, instead of either putting it in the floor or on their lap. The ukulele wall stands will allow to prepare for the use of ukuleles, where I will have a place to store them safely instead of in a closet where they could be damaged. The folders will allow my students to not worry about where they will buy their binders but have a music binder to keep their music and other worksheets. I want all of my students to have the chance to play musical instruments that they have never seen or heard of, and these materials can help just that.
