My students need an iPod Nano to hear music so they can concentrate on their math!

My Students
Have you ever tried to focus on a difficult math problem while 22 people are talking and moving around the room? My students have, and it is a challenge!
Every year I have at least one student who has difficulty focusing on math in a classroom of active fourth grade students.
This year, I have one student in particular who is struggling and falling behind in math because they are constantly distracted by sounds and movements around the classroom. We have tried putting folders up around them, sitting in the hall, and going to another classroom, but nothing seems to help. Recently their parents discovered at home that if they listen to music while working they can accomplish just about anything! I would like to use this same strategy in my classroom so this student and future students can complete work and focus on their daily tasks.
My Project
Please help me purchase an iPod so I can download music for this student and my future students to listen to during class so they can be more successful in their learning. I would also like to use the device to download different types of music from around the world so that students can be exposed to different cultures that they might not normally learn about.
By donating to our project you will not only help one student in particular this school year, but many others in the years to come who struggle with the same issue.
Thank you for your time, and I appreciate your passion for education!
