My Project

I have a digital piano (keyboard) in my classroom that students can play when I allow them. Before school, before the bell, during lunch, and sometimes during breaks in class, students will go to the piano to practice their favorite song.

There is something about music that helps all people cope or express themselves in ways that are beyond the textbook.

I am not a music teacher, I am a history teacher with a music background. However, I use music in my classroom to enhance students' social and emotional well-being while tapping into their hidden talents and creativity.

The items I've requested, a karaoke machine with wireless microphones, a keyboard stand, a piano pedal, and a microphone stand, will allow students practice and play more fluidly.
