Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

A lot can happen in one year! Between daily rehearsals, multiple performances, seasonal changes, time crunches, testing, etc., maintaining an organized space can get pushed to the back burner. Now is the time of year when we like to take inventory of the items and systems that have served us well...and those that have collected dust! It's time for some spring cleaning!

Help my students and I reorganize our storage spaces and put ourselves in a position to maintain the items and systems that serve us the most!

The storage bins will be used to house all of our concert attire (dress pants, polos, shoes, props, etc.). The pencils and highlighters will be used to restock the students' music folders so that they can continue to efficiently mark their music during rehearsals. The hanging shelf organizer, shelf dividers, popsicle stick holder (advertised as pencil holder-used for picking student volunteers fairly) and file holders will be great tools for giving each tool for musical success its own special place within our classroom. Any donation amount is appreciated! Let's get organized!
