Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Rebuilding a program requires consistency, grit, and...incentives! I am trying to create a culture of enthusiasm within my new choral program. I currently reward students who come in calmly, grab their music folder, and come straight to their seats with candy! I sometimes use candy to incentivize students to win content-related games, maintain positive peer interactions, and reinforce proper rehearsal techniques. The candy will be used as a sweet incentive, while the snacks will ensure each student has a pick-me-up for late performance nights and musical off-campus travel!

Donating candy and snacks for my young singers will help me create a culture of enthusiastic music-making and teamwork!

As the price of food continues to go up, the need for fun incentives like these remains. Thank you for considering this request!
