This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Writing music is fun. It is learning another language. Using dry erase boards is a great way to explore music notation and keeping our school green.
My students love making music.
My school is a very multicultural community. They love creating and exploring music. Music making at our school is very important. Kindergarten through fourth grade have music twice a week for forty minutes. They explore playing instruments, singing, movement, and composition. They are very creative.
My Project
Dry erase boards are a great way to engage young children. It is fun and exciting. These tools are hands-on. Back to the basics! Children need the opportunity to explore writing as an extension of the music making process. Dry erase boards are a great way to GO GREEN!
Dry erase boards will enhance the music learning process meeting the National Standards in Music.
Composition is a very strong component of the music curriculum. Presently we use paper and markers. These boards will also assist the diverse learners.
