Music Classroom Needs A Working CD Player!

My students need a working CD player in their music classroom so that they can sing, play and dance instead of waiting for the CD player to work.

My Students

Please help! Our CD player in the music classroom is dying! It sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, which means kids are waiting for music and can't sing and play and dance unless our current CD player is in the right mood. Please replace it so that we can get back to our music learning!

My students come from an area of high poverty and love music.

They love to move and dance and sing and play instruments. It's really frustrating when we have to wait for the CD player to work when we're so excited to sing and dance. These students already have to wait for so much and it is very disappointing to them when we can't sing their favorite song because the CD player isn't working at that moment.

My Project

A cd disc changer will allow students to have quicker access to music. My curriculum has at least 7 cds for each grade level and I often do songs from several cds each class period. Every time I change the cd, students cross their fingers and hope that it will work. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. It would be great to stop wasting time waiting for technology to work and to get back to the business of music learning.

Please stop the delays in our music learning!

I have over 300 elementary students that are tired of waiting for the cd player to cooperate. We need a cd player for our music classroom that works!
