This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is located on the Upper West Side in Manhattan, New York City, which has so many young talented musicians. They enjoy singing, playing instruments, and learning new music. With your help, we would be able to expand our musical knowledge and skills. Thank you so much for helping out our school!

My Project

Hello Friends! This DonorsChoose project will help fund a printer for our music class, that way we can print sheet music and learn different lyrics to our songs. Not only will they help our students learn music, but they'll be able to grow into young musicians and expand their musical skills. Sheet music is important for musicians to identify musicality, lyrics, measures, key signatures, diatonic scales, pentatonic scales, and as well as identify the different pitches, all while learning how to read music (quarter notes, 8th notes, quarter rests, and 8th note rests.) Thank you very much for your kind donation. We are very excited about having our own classroom printer!
