Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is to provide binders to my students so that they can stay organized with their sheet music. Teaching in a middle school there are so many times where a student will loose their sheet music, fingering charts, or other classroom document simply because they were walking to band/orchestra class had their music folder upside down it just simply slipped out. Using a ring folder instead will help prevent students from loosing their material since it will be locked into a 3-ring binder. By using a binder for ensemble music class students will also learn organization skills by separating their warmup methods, technique methods, rhythm studies, and sheet music which will be increase their soft skills and prepare them when its time to get a job or apply to college.
