Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My choir students have been struggling to keep their music safe throughout the school year. This has resulted in many copies of music being made and many students falling behind because they are not coming to class prepared. To solve this issue, I have decided to find a way to let students keep their music in the classroom in an organized way. By assigning a binder to each student I am able to check students music after every class and see what notes they have made throughout class. This will also teach students responsibility with keeping their binders safe and returning their binder to their assigned spot at the end of each class. That is also why I am requesting bookends that way I can organize their binders on my shelves without the area getting disorganized.
Along with binders, I am in need of headphones for my music tech class.
Students frequently create music and have a hard time hearing what they are creating because of all the noise that is occurring. If I provide headphones to my students they will be able to easily hear the music they are creating!
