My Project

As a new teacher in the public school vocal music classroom, I hope to create an environment that is welcoming, organized, and well-stocked with items to help my newcomer and upper ELL students feel comfortable and thrive. With our new choral binders, we will learn and organize different pieces of music that represent the different cultures of my students.

Music is an international language in which we can all communicate.

In my class, students are able to share in their common love for singing and get to know one another. Organization is a priority for me and my students, so we can keep our music in good shape and not have to waste instructional time.

These binders help to create a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all of my students. I am excited to welcome all of my culturally diverse students into a classroom where their cultures, languages, and identities are celebrated.
