This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All children have musical potential. My students love to sing and dance, bringing unique interests and abilities to the classroom. I want to expand on their love of music through the use of musical instruments.

My students do not have access to musical instruments, so I would like them to be able to use drums, bells, and rhythm sticks to enhance their musical abilities.

Teaching students to follow beats and learn rhythm may encourage them to continue their love of music. This will allow some children to shine where they may not in other areas.
