Music Alive

Help me give my students the sonor Orff Glockenspiel will be used for concert festival this year for middle school band. All mouthpieces will be used for students who cannot afford for their instrument.

My Project

The items are essential for their learning for example the mouthpieces are used to play instruments at the school. The problem is sometimes there are old instruments but not enough mouthpieces for all the students in the class. The glockenspiel will expose students to different types of percussion instruments. The instrument is also required for a piece of music the students are learning for the festival.

My goal for this project is to help provide essential items for the band program at my school.

The items are dispensable items that needs to be updated and used on a regular basis. I teach in a title 1 district and the band programs do not have the funds to cover each student. I am thankful for programs that reach out at help make education better for all.

My students are just learning to play and attended their first festival last year. The students are doing great from learning in a small amount of time. The students are developing over time and getting better. My goal for my students is to have one of the best middle school bands in the district. I do not want resources to stop them from having the full learning experience they deserve.
