Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have requested sheet music as well as some recording equipment to provide students a wider net when it comes to music literature. I have specifically selected Tenor/Bass repertoire as most composers write either for Treble or Mixed ensembles. The recording equipment will allow myself and my students to create music rather than the traditional method of simply reading on a page. This will also allow me to create rehearsal tracks to share with my students to further aid them in their preparation for concerts, outside school events, and statewide assessments.
