This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Murals are a great way to boost the morale of the community, while also giving artists a chance to showcase their skills on a large and public platform. With these canvas supplies, students will be able to bring their designs to life and have an opportunity to leave their mark on our campus. Students will also be taught skills they may use outside of the classroom, such as proposal writing and marketing.

Designing and creating murals could be a future profession for some of these students.

Street art and muralism are a growing trend, students may get a head start with developing their skills and have the potential to make a career or side job as a muralist.
