I teach PreK at this elementary school. It is in a rural community in Minnesota. I just moved to this city last year from the Twin Cities. I absolutely love the friendliness of small town living.
Our school district is very small.
We only have 4 sections of PreK but we are hoping to grow our early childhood program.
This will be my first year teaching in Hinckley. I will be teaching two 4 year old classes with 20 students in each class.
We are blessed with new classrooms this year but much of our equipment needs updating.
My students absolutely LOVE to sing and dance. I would love to also teach them the joy of creating music with musical instruments. Currently, we do not have ANY musical instruments for our classroom. I am asking for rhythm sticks, egg shakers, bells, and a set of various rhythm instruments. I’m also asking for a CD set that promotes music and movement. These items will be used to teach the students about rhythm, practice counting & making patterns, and of course just having fun! Making music promotes creativity, brain development, and much more. Thank you for your time and consideration.
