Munchies for Mrs. Moll's Munchkins II

Help me give my students different snacks to meet the diverse dietary needs in the classroom.

My Project

We have free breakfast and lunch for all students but many students come to school late. With a late arrival, the kitchen is closed. I like to have quick foods on hand so no student has to be hungry. My kids know that if they don't get to eat at home, I always have something for them.

Small snacks throughout the day provide nutrients and energy for young children.

These snacks are mostly individually wrapped so students can grab a snack when they need one. This also makes it easy for students to work and eat at the same time. .

For morning brain food, we usually have peanut butter, crackers, or whole grain cereal so the children get a bit of added protein. Peanut butter on a spoon is the most preferred morning snack. (Students have it almost every day.)

With your help, these foods and snacks will last for several months. Thank you for your kindness and support of my young, energetic, joyful learners.
