This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our teachers are striving to incorporate multisensory strategies into their reading instruction. The whisper phones and mini-white boards will help our students to practice their reading and writing skills in the classroom.

These tools will be mostly used in our K-2 classrooms and for select 3-5 grade students who are still working on key foundational reading skills.

Both of these items will be used during independent stations and in teacher-led small group instruction. The whisper phones will allow students to hear themselves as they practice their phonological awareness skills, phonics skills, and fluency.
