Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students will engage with hands on manipulatives and their vocabulary will increase as they engage in think and play activities. The students will have verbal and visual internalization, and use make connections to everyday life experiences. The students work in centers and will be able to use alphabets to advance in all areas of instruction. PreK students learn with hands-on and visual supports.
They will be able to recognize letters and write their names with accuracy.
The letters and numbers help them to progress in all areas of instruction. Numbers and number sequence is on-going through the year. All students are tested three times year and each time the students are challenged to progress. PreK students use multisensory manipulatives throughout the day, and at their center time. Plus, the centers change with different themes and different lessons. Students can easily make connections through visuals and hands on learning.
