This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Kindergarten and 3rd Grade multilingual learners come from diverse cultures. Although they have limited English proficiency, they all come with prior knowledge and various experiences that make them unique.

The requested material is a mobile teaching stand & storage center in one.

It has a magnetic dry erase board which will be used to model daily activities, rings to hang anchor charts, and pocket charts which hold sentence starters and other visual supports needed by English language learners, especially newcomers. The bottom shelf will be used to store vocabulary cards, supplies and manipulatives. This multipurpose chart stand will help my small group instruction run more efficiently, meaning more learning time for the students. Another bonus is that this center is on wheels! It can be easily moved from one area to another.
