This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are smart, hardworking, and full of potential—but they face challenges that make learning harder. Many come from homes without access to technology and are navigating the path to college as the first in their families to do so.
To support them, I’m requesting an iPad to create more engaging, personalized, and accessible math instruction.
With this device, I’ll be able to deliver interactive lessons, track progress in real time, and give students access to tools that meet their unique needs—whether they’re learning English, have learning differences, or simply need math to come alive visually.
What We Need:
1 iPad to support differentiated, tech-enabled instruction in math.
How It Will Help:
Boost engagement with interactive math tools like Desmos, Khan Academy, and GeoGebra
Provide real-time feedback to help students stay on track
Support multilingual learners and students with IEPs using built-in accessibility features
Help close the digital divide for underserved students
Why It Matters:
This iPad will help bridge the opportunity gap for students who deserve every chance to succeed. It’s a tool that will empower them to build confidence in math—and themselves.
