Multimedia Project For MultiDisciplinary Classroom
My students need one multimedia projector to make technology more interactive.

Great students in a high-need area deserve the newest technology. My 5th graders work very hard to achieve their best and have dreams to go to college and work hard. They are focused on their goals but can have a hard time believing if they don't see that it exists. They are creative writers and by working on their skills can achieve all of their dreams.
My students love to learn about science and interact with it. There are great opportunities on websites such as Discovery Education that allow them to see science up close. We would love to be able to interact with these sites and others on the Internet. It would also be great to watch movies after reading stories such as the original "Wizard of Oz" to compare and contrast the book and the movie.
A multimedia projector would provide us with the opportunity to do many interactive events. We could connect to the Internet as a class and view online resources as well as watch movies that provide us with a great way to compare and contrast the books we read.
Your help will open up a world to my students that they do not know exists. It would provide them with a chance to see all that they can do.
