it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
My goal is to empower high school students to expand their definition of art by introducing them to a wide range of media.
Some of the most engaging and memorable lessons this year involved digital media such as filmmaking and photography. I want to expand those projects by adding digital art equipment such as an LED lamp and a large photography backdrop stand. These would double as tools to assist students in documenting their artwork for portfolios and college applications.
Additionally, starting next year, our art department is offering a brand new printmaking class! We're hoping to add a printing press, a class set of gauges and linoleum blocks to our collection of supplies. By donating to this project, you would be helping to secure high quality, long lasting pieces of equipment that would serve hundreds of students and a team of dedicated teachers for years to come.
