My project is requesting multilingual books to support my classroom of multilingual preschool students and making sure they feel represented within our class. Within our classroom students speak English, Spanish, French, Amharic and Krio.
Every time I use a word from my students' primary languages their faces light up with joy, just imagine how joyous they will feel when I can read to them from books in these languages.
These books will also foster a sense of community as the students begin to learn about each other's languages and cultures.
