This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to give a diverse group of students the opportunity to produce murals on quality canvas.

The importance of embracing cultural diversity and acceptance of the same will be built into the creation of these murals.

This will be a year-long project culminating in the creation of large murals that will be hung on the walls of the school where they can be seen by the students and the community of our school. This will help to build pride in themselves and in their cultural heritage, as well as providing a way to build acceptance.
