Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The specific items I am requesting will make a difference in their learning because it will help invite children to explore diversity in the world.

It is vital to have a variety of multicultural materials available to children because that teaches them compassion & tolerance among other very important character traits.

Children eventually pass on those character traits to younger future students. Students should be taught empathy, justice & equality at a young age, therefore they develop academic & social skills. Books are a great way to learn and experience cultural diversity. Therefore, these materials are a great addition to our diverse collection of materials in our classroom!
